Mesh formats
STL binary & ASCII, OBJ, PLY, and 3MF. Reads bounding box, triangle count, surface area, and volume (flagged when the mesh is open and a volume would be meaningless).
Solid models
STEP, IGES, and BREP use a real geometry kernel — Open CASCADE, compiled to WebAssembly — so they mesh and measure correctly from the original topology. The kernel is ~7 MB and loads only when you open one of these formats.
Drawings
DXF ASCII — lines, arcs, circles, ellipses, polylines, splines, text, and blocks. Layers are toggleable, and hiding a layer removes it from exports as well as from the view.
Privacy
Your file is read inside this browser tab with the File API. There is no server endpoint to upload to — the file never leaves your device. Safe to use with confidential part files under NDA.
